To start, I have never been into yoga and was honestly quite scared of it. But starting it with Hannah has been an amazing way to start my journey of yoga. I asked to start classes to work on some issues I have had with my back. From there she has helped me learn stretches and poses to help strengthen my core helping me avoid further back injuries. (Side note, I have had back issues for over 10 years). Hannah understands my limitations as a beginner of yoga and challenges me more and more each class but doesn’t push me when I have realized that I can’t move my body into a specific pose yet. And Hannah’s teaching of yoga has taught me so much about meditation and my connection to my own body. I can’t recommend her enough or stop telling everyone I know about how great she is.

If you’re just getting into yoga or coming back from a long break and you feel a little uncomfortable or unsure of yourself Hannah Tosi is the teacher for you!
I struggle with finding environments I feel comfortable in to practice yoga in groups and she has always made me feel welcome.
She stays aware of everyone in the class and will assess everyone’s personal needs

Hannah is an incredible yoga teacher. She is inspiring, compassionate, and wise. Her innate capacity to care for each of her students and herself shines in her yoga classes. I wish I lived closer to Hannah so I could attend her classes as often as possible. She raises my vibration, reminds me of my power, and creates a magical space for her students to grow and transform. She also provides a thorough practice…working with the energy of each unique group, she guides students through poses that give attention to all important parts of the body, and her class leaves the body relaxed, strengthened, and balanced. Words can not begin to express my gratitude to Hannah.  A medical condition left me unable to participate in regular yoga classes and I was extremely depressed and frustrated.  I tried exploring at home gentle yoga videos but was fearful of pushing myself past my limitations which could result in an ER visit.
I did my yoga session at Spirit Space Yoga as I felt I would have trouble relaxing in my own home.  Hannah had all the supplies ready for me and the room was clean, quiet, and zen.  I immediately felt at home at Spirit Space Yoga and was very comfortable opening up to Hannah.  Hannah is wonderful and has a calm, nurturing, knowledgeable presence.  She calmly and patiently listened to my limitations, goals, hopes, dreams, and fears.  She led me through a wonderful private session that made me feel alive and hopeful again.  Hannah was able to design a session that worked on my goals of strength, flexibility, and relaxation in a full body workout without over-exerting my arm where I have a PICC line placed.  I felt respected and safe throughout my whole session.  I have to admit when the actual yoga started I felt a bit odd being the only student but Hannah reassured me that the feeling would quickly pass, and it did.  I look forward to continuing my yoga journey and healing with Hannah.  She is a holistic practitioner and leaves you feeling good in mind, body, and spirit.

Hannah is an amazing teacher. She understands and practices the connection between body, mind and spirit. She is caring and careful, gentle and generous. I attended her classes at the JCC in Newton and I have been lucky enough to participate in a small private group. I always felt refreshed and relaxed after Hannah’s classes. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Hannah is kind, caring, patient, gentle, and a very good teacher. I’m not a quick study with yoga and often struggle to follow teachers. Hannah didn’t rush through her teaching and explained things clearly enough for me to pick things up; she would come around and correct or explain postures with which I may have had some difficulty. And she is a spiritual person; she “walks the walk.” … So, overall, Hannah was great, no doubt about it! If she was still in the Boston area, I’d run (or walk mindfully) to her classes!
